The current documentation for the AuthLDAPUrl directive includes the following: ldap://host:port/basedn?attribute?scope?filter attribute The attribute to search for. Although RFC 2255 allows a comma-separated list of attributes, only the first attribute will be used, no matter how many are provided. I have found that this is no longer (2.0.53) true in part. If you code multiple comma-separeted attributes then the CGI environment will be populated with one variable named AUTHENTICATE_attribute for each attribute coded in the URL, containing the value retrieved from the LDAP server. This is VERY USEFUL, but I hesitate to set things up to depend on it if it's not 'official' and may go away in the future. Can someone tell me if this feature is here to stay, and if its omission from the doc is just due to lack of resources, or if it's going to remain undocumented? Or, did I miss where it's documented?
