RE: [users@httpd] Configuration directives question

Thanks. I had completely forgotten the php_flag in the apache
configuration. I have set it off as a general prameter and disabled
override for the /exports/home directory.

I then created separate directory entry for horde and enabled it in
there. This does exactly what I want.

So I ended up with this:

php_flag engine off
Alias /horde /exports/var/www/html/horde
Alias /mail /exports/var/www/html/horde/imp
<Directory "/exports/var/www/html/horde">
        php_flag engine on
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
        AllowOverride None
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Directory>
<Directory "/exports/home">
        #php_flag engine off
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
        AllowOverride None
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Directory>
<Directory "/exports/home/gary">
	# And me of course, because as admin I get access
        php_flag engine on
        Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
        AllowOverride None
        Order allow,deny
        Allow from all
</Directory>

Thanks.

Gary

Don't disable it. Make sure you don't enable it in the first place.

You can enable it within a <Directory>, well away from the user stuff,
for your horde and any other contents that want it.
