If you aren't running multiple sites on each IP-Port combination, then
you don't need NameVirtualHost.

This means the request never made it to your server, so it is likely
not an apache config problem.  Check again your DNS configuration. 
Check that the IP addresses returned by DNS are really the ones
assigned to your server.
