[users@httpd] effects of nonportable-atomics

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I'm new to this list, and so please excuse me for the novice question.

I'm interested in how effective (performance-wise) the
--enable-nonportable-atomics compile-time option for apache httpd on a
multi-CPU machine:
  http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/misc/perf-tuning.html

Are there any measurement results or something about this option that
can help figure this out? (I don't care much about OS/machine
architecture at the moment).

Thanks in advance,
