Subject: [users@httpd] apache 1.33 ?

Hi List

I have an entry in my apache.conf file like so.

Why don't you describe in plain english what you're trying to do and what the problem is. I can't parse config files as quickly as I can read well-written prose...

Rgds,
Owen Boyle

My apologies

In my apache.conf file I have a folder that I want to serve my updated freshclam files (quicker than having to go fetch it on the internet, well here in ZA at least) and I too have an alias for dspam.

Basically my dspam setup has made it so that if I want to get the freshclam files, I cant be cause the htaccess is displaying a prompt, and I cant view the directory listing of the fresh clam files.

I too had a alias, directory listing of my friends wedding pics, and everytime the htaccess prompt would appear, forcing me to keep clicking the cancel and the pics would list / appear

Thanks again
Kind Regards
Brent Clark
