There's the commercial solution (chilisoft), then there's the perl-based solution (ASP isn't a proprietary extension - active server pages can be implemented in an arbitrary coding language), then there's four free, "real" ASP solutions (you didn't give your apache version - it may be that the only one that fits your version isn't production-ready). I seem to be bursting everybody's balloon these days, but it might be that what you want can't be done. Bear in mind that MS-ASP is a proprietary coding language developed for IIS and that Apache is a webserver that grew up in the Unix world and was ported to windows. So you're asking for the remote intersection of two rather different universes. Actually, I'm surprised there are so many solutions on offer! If you don't want to pony up the $500 and the GPL solutions don't work and you don't want to recode then one final workaround is to keep using IIS but as a back-end internal ASP server and use apache as the front-end, handling all static content and proxying any ASP requests to IIS. That way apache does all the interface with the real world and IIS gets to sit in a protected environment handling only ASPs which should make it more stable.
