Re: [users@httpd] public_html does not work

Check the permissions and the owner / group for 
/home/myuser/public_html/ as well as 
/home/myuser/public_html/index.html. I had a similar problem because I 
created the test index.html file while logged in as root. Since the 
files was owned by root, apache couldn't gain access to it.
