No, this never did work by now:

open("/var/run/httpd.pid", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
write(2, "no listening sockets available, "..., 46) = 46
write(2, "Unable to open logs\n", 20)   = 20

Any further hints?
