[users@httpd] log rotate

What do you guys recommend to rotate logs? On our web servers we
mainly use some shell scripts and perform a graceful on Apache but was
wondering if most people just use syslog's logrotate or just use
Apache's rotatelogs.
I have hundreds of virtual hosts I would need to do this on, so was
trying to determine if one way was better, faster or more efficient
than the other.

Thanks,
Nick
