Markus,
i have unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH, i compile in the same way as you with
the same unsuccessfull result.

Morever, i can compile without any problem apache 1.3.33 and 2.1.3-beta. 

Very strange thing. I think i will update my gcc and libgcc from sunfreeware.

I'm currently using gcc 3.1

Maybe it could be the problem
