[users@httpd] Socket operation on non-socket

Hi there,

I am having some problems with Apache2. For some reason I can start apache
but after several seconds, or after doing some things on the website that's
being hosted by apache it seems like it has crashed.
When trying to connect to the server it says connection refused.

When I look into the error.log I see the following error:

[error] (88)Socket operation on non-socket: apr_accept: (client socket)

This error repeats itself about 18 times a second.

I'm a real new to Apache2. I've tried searching Google, but without luck. It
did come up with some results, but they all had to done with to much open
files. And I think that's not the problem here.

The Apache version I'm using = Apache/2.0.53

Linux version = Linux version 2.6.820041125 (gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian
1:3.3.4-13))

Hopefully some of you can help me out with this cause it's really
frustrating having the server crash every couple of seconds, as you can
imagine. :)

Kind regards and thanks in advance,

Ronald Roeleveld.
