Not really.  CGI++ worked well with gcc 2.6 and 2.7,
but relied heavily on the (then) libg++ string and regexp
libraries.  That became progressively harder to support
with later gcc versions when they dropped those libs.
And since there were other C++ CGI libs available by
[sometime in 1997], I gradually dropped CGI++.
