Hi, Ever since a couple of days on one of my Fedora Core 3 servers, Postfix entries start appearing in the Apache logs. (!?) So, /var/log/httpd/error.log has a lot of entries that shouldn't be in there, like these; Mar 23 22:06:03 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11732]: disconnect from 253.91.100-84.rev.gaoland.net[84.100.91.253] Mar 23 22:07:16 fc3-4 pop3-login: Login: admin [192.168.1.44] Mar 23 22:09:21 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11744]: connect from post-22.mail.nl.demon.net[194.159.73.192] Mar 23 22:09:22 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11744]: 1CB175F41: client=post-22.mail.nl.demon.net[194.159.73.192] Mar 23 22:09:22 fc3-4 postfix/cleanup[11745]: 1CB175F41: message-id=<LEELICGCIJAEBAKKMCBGMEBOGDAA.info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mar 23 22:09:22 fc3-4 postfix/qmgr[4230]: 1CB175F41: from=<info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, size=17369, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Mar 23 22:09:22 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11744]: disconnect from post-22.mail.nl.demon.net[194.159.73.192] Mar 23 22:09:23 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11749]: connect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Mar 23 22:09:23 fc3-4 postfix/smtpd[11749]: DB4DC6499: client=localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Mar 23 22:09:23 fc3-4 postfix/cleanup[11750]: DB4DC6499: message-id=<LEELICGCIJAEBAKKMCBGMEBOGDAA.info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mar 23 22:09:23 fc3-4 postfix/qmgr[4230]: DB4DC6499: from=<info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, size=17767, nrcpt=1 (queue active) and so on... access.log and ALL httpd log-files are full of postfix stuff that doesn't belong there. I've checked with postfix, they tell me it's not postfix what is at fault, and the maillog looks just fine on that server. Anyone any clues? I must say I don't trust postfix on this, since it's been updated very recently. This might even be the exact time it started, but I'm too late to check that. -- Adios Julius http://jult.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
