Has anyone deployed RPC over HTTP(S) for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP1 using Apache as a reverse proxy server (instead of a Microsoft ISA Server)? More specifically, does Apache support RPC over HTTP(S)? The topology is a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP1 Back-End Server (BE) and a Front-End Server (FE). The Apache (reverse proxy) server is located in the DMZ. Using Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP SP2 desktop, connecting via RPC over HTTP(S) on the internal LAN to the FE server works. However, when using the Apache server from the WAN, it does not. The strange thing is that all other Microsoft Exchange Server functionality works (i.e. Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outlook Mobile Access (OMA), etc.) with the reverse proxy server. Since RPC is being encapsulated in HTTP(S), should this be transparent? Or, is Apache filtering the packets differently? Any help or suggestions would be much obliged. jd80301_at_yahoo_dot_com __________________________________ Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday! Yahoo!
