Hi - I'm running apache 2.1 on a freebsd box. The fbsd box connects to the internet thru a hub and then to the router modem. I use a static IP and havea domain name set up. Other machines on the lan connect the same way. When I direct a browser directly at the fbsd box, all works well, just as expected. When accessed from outside the network using www.domain.com, it also works well. However, using www.domain.com from a machine on the local network results (always) in a dialog box asking for a username and password for "WebAdmin". I have no idea how to respond to it (I've tried every conceivable user/password) nor do I understand where it's coming from. Can anyone suggest where this box is coming from and why? How can I get rid of it? Thanks Gene --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
