There had been a different issue (extremely slow internet browsing speeds) that forced me to ultimately reinstall Windows 11 and all my apps from scratch. Afterward, in XAMPP, MySQL started crashing. I tried to change the MySQL port. Now it works, though, oddly, it appears to still be using the same port as it was originally (3306). Apache is also using its original ports (80 and 443). Don't know if the clean install helped. Regardless, Apache, MySQL and the rest of XAMPP are finally working correctly and so is WordPress. I can finally start to design my site. Thanks very much. > -----Original Message----- > From: users-digest-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <users-digest- > help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Tuesday, March 5, 2024 11:02 PM > To: users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: users Digest 6 Mar 2024 04:02:01 -0000 Issue 6550 > > > users Digest 6 Mar 2024 04:02:01 -0000 Issue 6550 > > Topics (messages 123124 through 123133) > > Re: Apache Not Starting via XAMPP. > 123124 by: webadmin.themavo.com > 123125 by: Frank Gingras > > filerights > 123126 by: Chris Devriese > > unsubscribe > 123127 by: Serge Krawczenko > 123128 by: Antony Stone > > Measurements of htaccess processing penalty > 123129 by: Yehuda Katz > 123130 by: Marc > 123131 by: Yehuda Katz > 123132 by: Marc > > Apache Keeps Crashing in XAMPP. > 123133 by: webadmin.themavo.com > > Administrivia: > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To post to the list, e-mail: users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe, e-mail: > users-digest-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > For additional commands, e-mail: users-digest-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For additional commands, e-mail: users-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
