httpd will generally support what openssl supports on linux; when using windows, it would depend on how it was compiled.

That being said, you can try with SSLCertificateFile and SSLPassPhraseDialog and report back.

and configure the server parameters accordingly.

So instead of extracting the files is it possible to configure the .pfx

itself in Apache httpd server which is password protected.
