Hi David,

2016-04-15 19:02 GMT+02:00 David Long <DLONG@xxxxxxxxxx>:

We are upgrading our apache 2.2 to 2.4 and found out a lot of module need to be loaded.

Like authz_core_module, dir_module, setenvif_module, mime_module etc.

But those module were not need to load at 2.2. 2.2 will have those by default.

Can someone tell me what are commonly used modules we need to load in 2.4?

In http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/upgrading.html there are some useful info about what changed between 2.2 and 2.4, including for instance some references about the new auth* modules (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/howto/auth.html).

I believe that each configuration needs its own (possibly minimal) set of modules, but there might be some space for improvement in our docs.

Thanks!

Luca
