I have also tried to remove any name-based virtual host from my configuration, but same behavior (at this time, I don't even understand how httpd goes from one name to another as there is no reverse DNS!). I don't understand what happens as this same configuration used to work for years (httpd 2.2 CentOS 6), until I upgraded to 2.4 with CentOS 7. As a work-around, I use "server-status/" and "server-info/" for now, but this is rather disappointing...
