thanks for your response. I have modified the rule as
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^&L=0$ [NC]
RewriteRule dd_googlesitemap http://domain/sitemap.xml [R=301,L]
but still no success where the scenario is
http://domain/?eID=dd_googlesitemap&L=0 should be redirected to http://domain/sitemap.xml
