Hi,

I have installed and configured apache web server on virtual machine(VM). The CPU utilization of apache, while serving client requests is very large on VM.

When I did the same experiment with physical machine the Utilization is very small.

The CPU utilization of virtual machine with that of physical machine is in ratio of 25 : 4 % (approx) respectively. (For around 3000 requests with concurrency 200)

Why there is so much difference??. Is there any way to reduce it??
