Hi,

Apache newbie here.

is there a simple way to redirect all https' 404 to http?
I searched for some solutions but could not find any...

Is there a rewrite variable that holds the http return code?
Something like:

  RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on
  RewriteCond %{RETURN_CODE} 404
  RewriteRule (.*) http://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}

Or maybe something like:
  "If https" do

    ErrorDocument 404 http://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI}

  else
    ErrorDocument 404 /error/404

Or do I have to user a custom script with:
  ErrorDocument 404 /my404.php

Thx,
JD
