Scan your computer for trojans, and notify your friends from the list
of addressees to do the same.

Be advised however that if it's your "public" address, spammers took a
nasty habit of spoofing originating mail addresses to one of unsuspecting
people that just happened to post their e-mail addresses online. 

Its always a good idea keep at least one mailbox private and send
messages from it to trusted recipients only, leaving other correspondence 
to a public one.
