making exception in Location path

I have an authentication rule for entire site as follows:

{
<Location />
  AuthType Basic
  ...
  ...
<Location>
}

Is there any way to exclude only a particular path from this
authentication realm. Any help or suggestions?

SysInfo: Apache/2.2.3 on CentOS 5.6.
