Hi. This prerelease, https://github.com/OpenAoE/aoe/releases/tag/aoe6-86pre1 ... at the new github project for OpenAoE, http://www.openaoe.org/ ... is compile-tested to be compatible with new kernels. It has backward compatibility with older kernels. The changes are significant but are intended to closely mirror upstream changes in the upstream kernel's built-in aoe driver. As usual, they're accompanied by backwards-compatibility tests and patches that allow the driver to work on older kernels as well.
