tmp_value is initialized to NULL, which means krealloc_array() will behave like kmalloc_array(), is there any particular reason we are adding this variable at all just to use krealloc_array(), and why not use kmalloc_array() directly ?

I thought of using kmalloc_array() (got little confused on next write cycle), I agree to use kmalloc_array().
