Tag VRAM BOs that do not have a VA with a unique Id, a 128-bit
UUID. This unique Id is used to distinguish BOs that might
otherwise be of same size. Checkpoint and restore assumes
that these BOs are not imported into a DRM device that is
accessible either from current process or its parent or
child process

Clear NAK to add this to the amdgpu_bo structure.

This is not related to general BO handling but a specialized use case.

What exactly are you trying to do here in the first place?

It's probably not needed in this patch. Eventually we need some way to figure out when the same BO is shared between different KFD and DRM render node devices, even across processes. When a CRIU checkpoint is restored, we need to restore the memory sharing relationships, so we need a way to uniquely identify shared BOs when different handles in different device files refer to the same BO.

The only way to get the UUID out of the driver is through the private data of a CRIU checkpoint. And the only way to get it back in is through the privileged CRIU restore ioctl.

  Felix
