In going over my Ubuntu 16.04 (64bit) system log I found the following:
"Aug 27 00:02:22 Desktop64 pulseaudio[2726]: [alsa-sink-ALC889A Analog]
alsa-util.c: snd_pcm_avail() returned a value that is exceptionally
large: 2284120 bytes (12948 ms).
"Aug 27 00:02:29 Desktop64 pulseaudio[2726]: [alsa-sink-ALC889A Analog]
alsa-util.c: Most likely this is a bug in the ALSA driver
'snd_hda_intel'. Please report this issue to the ALSA developers."
I have no idea how to manage any problem that might have caused this
notification and I would appreciate any advice you may have.
