Can you elaborate a bit more, I still not not understand what you mean here by 'support multi-platform style' and why this is needed in the future? Furthermore, even if the CPU is not supporting the snd_soc_dai_link_component, I don't understand why this prevents us from making this change now other than it is not consistent.
