Wiki is extremely outdated and incomplete since nobody is activelymaintaining it. VT1708S is supported, thanks to contributions fromVIA. However, quirky boards might not be fully working.
Maybe reporting BIOS bug to ASUS would help, but I wouldn't bet on that.
