The previous patch was for 2.6.28 while the first one was for git.
Maybe just because of a line difference.

Could you try test/cf74-fix branch on sound git tree?
  git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tiwai/sound-2.6.git test/cf74-fix
