State of hda-analyser.py

Hi, 
I am a final year student from BITS Pilani, India. I have been facing
some issues with my laptop audio and hence wanted to use the
hda_analyser script. However, I noticed that the python script doesn't
seem to compatible with the current pygtk libraries. If possible,I
would like to contribute towards bringing the scripts to parity.
