Hello ALSA Devs, I would like to know if its possible to support this old (very, isa old) legacy soundcard: "AzTech Sound Galaxy Nova 16 Extra II-3D - using AZT-2316/R Chipset - FCC-ID:I38-MMSN846" Official Link: http://www.aztech.com/support_download_soundcard01.html Its an old soundcard, here's a quick drivers list from the official site: File Name File Size File Description No. of Disks N16E23D.ZIP 806,474 Sound Galaxy Nova16 Extra II-3D Version 1.01 - English 1 of 1 N16E23D6.ZIP 955,219 Sound Galaxy Nova16 Extra II-3D Version 1.01 - 6 Languages 1 of 1 2316FD31.ZIP 111,868 Win 3.x Full Duplex Audio Driver 1 of 1 2316FD95.ZIP 90,526 Windows 95 Full Duplex Audio Driver Version 4.8.0 Build 1128 1 of 1 2316ROS22.ZIP 181,347 OS/2 2.x & 3.x Audio Driver 1 of 1 2316NT.ZIP 402,583 Windows NT 3.x Audio Driver Version 1.03 1 of 1 2320NT.ZIP 372,707 Windows NT 4.0 Audio Driver Version 3.00 1 of 1 It also has native support in Win2000, though it was dropped in WinXP... I don't have any specs but this might help : http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/lxr/source/sound/isa/azt2320.c It states it supports the AZT-2316, but I can't make it work :-(, maybe I'm at fault ? I know legacy devices aren't a priority of any sorts but I thought I should give it a try... Its the last piece of HW thats keeping me from formating the HD and install linux on that machine. I will obviously be more then willing to aid in debugging if clear instructions are given... I'm also planning on trying emailing the vendor (AzTech) hoping for tech-specs, but if I can't get a dev on board, well, its rather useless to me, isn't it ? If someone is interested pls email me...
