Why do I not see patches in the emails?

Can someone tell me why I can't see that actual patches in the posts that include them? 
I'm guessing it's some odd configuration option, but I went to 
http://mailman.alsa-project.org/mailman/options/alsa-devel and I didn't see anything 
applicable.

Here's an example.  As you can see, there is a text/plain attachment where the patch would 
be, but it's empty.

This patch by Frank Madarino updates the AT91xxxx Makefile and Kconfig
to build the renamed SSC files.

Changes:-

o Rename various i2s labels to ssc
