Still wondering why setting AC97-SPSA to 0 doesn't work in this
case.  Try the following:

- plug to the analog output on docking station
- set "IEC958 Playback AC97-SPSA" to zero via alsamixer or whatever
- set "IEC958 Playback Switch" on
- run
	% aplay -Ddefault foo.wav
