i have no listing for it anywhere other than seeing it with lsusb.
i know alsa supports it since it does not require a driver in windows or macos.
it just plugs in and works on my xp box.

i'm using ubuntu 6.10 btw with 2.17.11 generic kernel. i don't see the device
listed anywhere so i can't choose it when i wan't to record. is there a line
that i need to add somewhere maybe so that it picks up in the recording software
as a capture device? i test everything with audacity since it seems to be the
easiest to just hit record and play on for testing purposes.
