[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Linux 2.6.20
x86_64
Motherboard Asus M2N-E

	alsamixer shows the following:

Card: HDA NVidia
Chip: Analog Devices AD1988B

Everything works fine, except that the kernel initial boot
messages show the following:

hda_codec: Unknown model for AD1988, trying auto-probe from BIOS...
alsactl: set_control:991: warning: name mismatch (Surround Playback Volume/Front Playback Switch) for control #2
alsactl: set_control:993: warning: index mismatch (0/0) for control #2
alsactl: set_control:1106: bad control.2.value.0 content

	Should I worry about it?
