the instructions show a contributor manipulating their own alsa-driver-foo tree to create patches or bundles.
but my changes are to the 'real' alsa-kernel/pci/ac97/ac97_patch.c
how do i create submittable alsa-kernel changes instead of an alsa-driver changes?
