Hi, I'm new to ALSA and I'm supposed to write a driver to a device soon. I'm looking for a document that describes the ALSA architecture and definitions of common terms in ALSA and audio in general. I was reading the "Writing an ALSA Driver" by Takashi Iwai 0.3.6 Edition but it went too deep before I could understand the ALSA meta-architecture. Please help.
