Panasonic R5 audio jack support

The headphone jack on my new Panasonic R5 doesn't work. The laptop is uses the 
Intel HDA sound driver, and it works for the one small speaker on the bottom
but not through the headphones.

I tried unsuccessfully the patch for the similar CF-Y5 from here:

That didn't help. Any other ideas?
