Whenever I try to play on this device I get the following error:

Setting of hwparams failed: Invalid argument
Broken configuration for playback: no configurations available: Invalid
argument

After a lot of googling, I turned up the following link to someone with the
same chipset:

This patch works for me, and with respect to the second message in the
thread the sound plays normally, suggesting (if I understand the problem
correctly) that the chipset is giving out incorrect information about
supported rates.

Please close this bug, as it is part of a bigger issue which I'll open a
much more descriptive bug about, and hopefully attach a patch to.
