Summary: Alsaconf (iguration) failed : snd_ctl_open error:

snd-page-alloc snd-util-mem snd-hwdep.
Building card database...

2)i chooose my soundcard emu10k1 Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 08)
3)Configuring snd-emu10k1 Do you want to modify /etc/modprobe.d/sound (and

  /etc/modprobe.conf if present)?  yes

4)
Running update-modules...
Architecture-specific modutils configuration not found, using defaults
Loading driver...
Setting default volumes...
Saving the mixer setup used for this in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state.
/usr/sbin/alsactl: get_controls:492: snd_ctl_open error: Invalid argument

===============================================================================

 Now ALSA is ready to use.
 For adjustment of volumes, use your favorite mixer.

 Have a lot of fun! (but no fun for me!)

I have no solutions
This happened for the first time after i tried to compile
alsa-driver-1.0.9rc4a
