Summary: SPDIF output of Prodigy 7.1LT doesn't working
Description:
Hi.
I'm using Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1LT soundcard so i'm glad to support for it.
I've upgraded the driver immediately, well, headphone output(jack number
7) is working good. But SPDIF doesn't output any signal. I'm using DR.DAC
multi amplifier also, connected to Prodigy's SPDIF output, but it
receiving NO signal. Of course, it is working perfectly in Windows XP.
I've tried several .asoundrc setting but nothing worked. Does anybody
using SPDIF with Prodigy 7.1LT?

I have not tried using SPDIF with this card but I would encourage you to
try the patch from this thread
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=1744 since this
fixes a number of issues for me (such as getting sound out of the front
channel). You may be lucky and this patch will also fix SPDIF out.

Either way I think that the patch should be added to CVS, since it is a
definate improvement.

Wow, it works! Thank you very much, Demosthenes. There's some problems in
volume control, but anyway it works! :D
