Summary: configure file misinterprets with-sequencer option
Description:
HTML documentation on the intel8x0 driver
advises to use the configuration option:
--with-sequencer=yes

However, the sequencer is built by default.
In fact specifying this option does the
exact opposite of what one would expect.
It seems to EXCLUDE the sequencer from
the build!

intel8x0 does not support mpu401, the mpu401 interface (snd-mpu401) is
provided by a superio chip on the motherboard.

The sequencer is built by default, but it does not loaded automatically if
you only loaded snd-intel8x0 since there is no dependency between
snd-intel8x0 and sequencer modules

If you want to play midi using softsynth which use alsa sequencer api, you
may need to loaded snd-seq-dummy or snd-virmidi, ... which automatically
load the sequencer module
