The latest versions (1.0.11, 1.0.12rc1) compile but give a lot of problems: - loading the driver causes the azx_get_response timeout error. Using pci=noacpi or acpi=off does not fix this; only the single_cmd=1 option fixes this. - the driver loads. But aplay reports the error: ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:819:(snd_pcm_direct_initialize_slave) snd_pcm_hw_params_any failed ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:874:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to initialize slave aplay: main:547: audio open error: Invalid argument - Trying to cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 causes the system to use 100% CPU (SYS). After a long time the cmd returns without any output.
