(Everything was going through the pc speaker, volume controls worked erratically.) After soem searching, I tried: options snd-hda-intel model=auto and my problem was resolved. It looks like the default (model=auto) is not being applied properly (or at all) when modprobe loads the driver. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gvidal - 06-21-06 14:59 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For it is exactly the other way around.
