PHOTOS: PHL - September 01, 2010 Fairly active day at PHL. When I got there a US Army Bell taxied out to Alpha for departure. Next thing I saw, was the rotors stopping and emergency vehicles racing towards the scene. An Alert One was declared, but I'm not sure exactly what the problem was. There it stayed until I left at 3:30pm A Sikorsky came to pick up the crew. Then while waiting for a biz jet to depart RW27L, I seen a ball of flames to the NNW of the departure end. I did capture a couple explosions on photo. (I could swear I see a face in one of them). Lots of biz jets on the ramp and I waited around for N751BH, a nice C-X. Also on the Atlantic ramp was the AeroMexico Travel MD-83 and Dow A319 shuttle. I think it's three times a week now. Also in but no photos were the US PSA Heritage and US Arizona A319's There's a few OT photos, so ignore them if they annoy.
