PHOTOS: PHL & BWI - October 25, 2009

PHL in the AM, BWI in the PM, and with seconds left before sunset, =
mission accomplished. Got the Atlanta Falcons AirTran. Not the best of =
light, but it will due until better comes along. So now, the Baltimore =
Ravens and soon Indianapolis Colts. The other BWI highlights were a =
Mesaba CRJ9 next generation (my first) and a very nice Gulfstream, not =
to mention a distant shot of a Locair SW4. The highlight from PHL was a =
bad angle shot of the San Jose Sharks 727. But it beats no shot at all. =
Several special liveries at both airports.

Also at PHL they used 27R for departures for awhile. ATC told a AW CRJ =
to return to the gate as it had a panel/hatch open. The pilot stated he =
was told this when landing too. I think it's just an 'old paint' part =
replaced on a 'new paint' aircraft. As the CRJ returned to the lineup =
after a brief stay at the gate. With the so-called open door remaining =
the same.=20
