PHOTOS: Rotorfest and PHL - October 04, 2009 Over 100 photos in this group. The highlight at Rotorfest for me was = the Kaman K-Max and the Pilatus Porter jump plane. The clouds moved in = briefly in the AM and gave us a short-lived scare, but they burned off. = Plenty of copters and GA aircraft, including a Stearman and a Tri-Pacer. = =20 We were actually chased from our usual spot by the word handed down by = the FAA. We were to close to the safety zone. usually there is just a = handful of us photogs there, but this year we had a couple dozen family = types, which didn't help matters.
