According to Miami International Airport officials, 26 passengers aboard Flight 128 were hurt when the plane experienced turbulence that violently rocked the plane. The plane with 168 onboard was diverted to MIA, where it made an emergency landing at 5:44 a.m. It sat at Gate H-10 as Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pulled the injured people from the aircraft. Initial reports said eight people were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital by paramedics -- four of those passengers were seriously injured.
